About Janna M. Hall

Graduating in 2010 from James Madison University with a degree in English and a concentration in Creative Writing and Print Journalism, Janna left her hometown of Richmond, Virginia and headed to New York City in search of something bigger than herself. That "something," she discovered, was the position of Editor for Evolutionary Press, owned by the genius himself, Darnell Lamont Walker. Having met Darnell a year prior to her move, Janna had the opportunity to edit various creative works through his company The Griot, including Kiss of Life by J.R. Deweese, Framing the Poet by Aaron Wilson,  I Wrote a Book About Him by Hans L. Cordovaand Ms. Goody Two-Shoes by Eron Riley. The work she holds dearest to her heart is Darnell's latest buzz-generator and relationship bible, Creep.
It wasn't until after graduation that Janna rediscovered her affinity for leisure reading and editing, and while she prefers the inspiration she receives from non-fiction literature, she appreciates prose and poetry of any genre. As Janna built her rapport with writers within Evolutionary Press, she branched out and decided to extend her editing, ghostwriting, and proofreading services to aspiring writers everywhere by starting Janna M. Hall Editing. Since opening her company, Janna M. Hall Editing, Janna has edited Blind Innocence by A. Adams Jones and Fearfully and Wonderfully Made by Evelyn Hall-Harris.  She still partners with Evolutionary Press to complete publishing of all works.
Above all, Janna is a lover and admirer of art in every form, and can be found wandering in search of new ways to fall in love with it.
